Bootfreakik –
I really just wanted an ebike to ride up to the local coffee shop and Trader Joe’s when the weather warmed up. I took it out today for a good hour ride and it was fantastic. I decided to do some sight seeing on the way home and the assist, even on 1 was super helpful. In fact, I never used level 3, only 2 to get up a hill. Out of curiosity, I took the assist off and rode it like a normal bike and just about died…I’m old though. My 15 year old took it out around the neighborhood and I didn’t see her again for 30 minutes. It’s a fun, fun ride. Again, I’m a novice and I wanted it for local puttering. If that’s your gig then this bike is perfectly priced and definitely for you!!!!
Happy Customer –
Opened the box and bike was in perfect condition. Simple build and in about 20 minutes with tools included, charged the battery, pumped the tires up and off my initial ride, it is a blast.
Neat feature is as stated the speed hits 20 mph no problem.
Can’t believe the value at under $3,000 I got everything I wanted.
Also noted: comfortable saddle & riding position! Going to purchase another Yamaha YDX TORC for my wife.
Throwing a rack on this rig & I’m off to placing another order.

Ordered this on a Monday and I was riding by Friday. Was concerned about building this myself but found that removing all the protective packaging was the longest part and they were nice enough to include a small toolkit and some decent instructions. If you are handy it would probably take someone 20 minutes to build, a bit longer if not and you don’t really need to know bikes really. The bike rides pretty nice and I was able to fly up and down my street fairly quickly and the hills were made non-existent around my house. I felt like I was cheating when riding. For the price i wasn’t expecting much but it had some nice touches like the front light that works off the battery, the nice grips, and the solid looking tires. Would recommend this to anyone that wants to cruise around the neighborhood or to the beach in style (and not get sweaty). I like the fact I can remove the battery with the included keys.
